Evangelicals Are Taught What to Think, Not How to Think

Shame on us if we don’t teach our children how to answer the question, “Mom, How do we know we’re right?” Matthew Miller tells his testimony of how he converted from Christianity to Islam. After having a conversation with a friend who had converted to Islam he states, “Something INSIDE OF ME felt good. It was like a light.” Sadly, this is why many Christians also convert to Christianity and it’s also why they either don’t last very long or why their children don’t continue on in the faith.

Epistemology answers the question, “How do we know what we know?” It also affects your answer to the question, “How do we know the bible is true?” Many Christians including evangelical apologetic ministries would answer this question with the same epistemology as an unbeliever.
