I totally agree with you, Randy!! Praise God that it is Him and Him alone otherwise none of us would "choose" Him. He just cannot be Savior without also being Lord. He deserves both and requires both. That is not frontloading the Gospel. That is the Gospel. Deny yourself, pick up your cross and follow me. Deny yourself! Faith without works is dead. What does that mean? It means there will be works...and that isn't my word, that is God's. It is not all happy happy God is love, I accept Him and now I go on living like I did before. It means the Spirit will bear fruit in your life and fruit is works.

Shon,

You still mis-understand sanctification. Sanctification does not declare us to be sinless. We are saved by grace and by grace alone. Sanctification is the process, a slow one, by which we become more and more like Christ. A man who does not have a new relationship with sin does not have a new relationship with Christ.

In all due respect, the anti-lordship stance has denied the very definition of regeneration. That is, being born again. Jesus was not referring to an emotional experience, nor an altar call. He was referring to a miraculous work whereby God (and God alone) regenerates a man who was once dead in trespasses and sins and makes him alive in Christ.

Colossians 3 gives us a wonderful definition of being raised with Christ. You are refuting the biblical authors.

It must have been pretty simple for you to copy and paste these passages so you can front load the Gospel to attempt to take away pretty much the message of Gods undeserved and amazing free grace .... since none of these passages are a part of the root of salvation which is simply trusting in the Lord Jesus Christ but passage having to do with the fruit of salvation.

the question is not what you are trying to tell "others" to DO in order to be saved or stay saved.... the question is .... have "you" sincerely personalized it and thought through the implications for "yourself" ...

For example .... have you turned away from "ALL" your sins? If you still sin ... which im sure you do .... then you have not done what you're telling others to do ... then how can you place that burden on others .... that sounds like hypocrisy to me

Or ... do you have this worlds goods? and do you all ways have an open heart for mercy towards those in need and share what you have? the command does not say we should do this once in awhile

is you conduct always holy? didn't think so ...

have you experienced godly grief that produced true repentance? how do you know that godly grief is sufficient enough to meet Gods standard and its not like Judas sorrow? I guess you wont know until the last day before you die .... if you were truly saved .. that is what you're telling others ... I just hope you are willing to let the implications of you're backwards (sanctification first Gospel) apply to you personally ... think about that
